About the Author

Miranda Charis is a former teacher and current high school track coach. A rule follower with a stubborn streak, she is drawn to heroines who question whether doing what’s expected is the same as doing what’s right.

She lives in Northwest Arkansas with her husband of twenty years, their four children, and four dogs. If she’s not writing, she can usually be found reading, running, adding to her ever-growing plant collection, exploring her newfound love of coffee, or redecorating her house for the umpteenth time.

Miranda writes stories for readers who still believe wonder and hope belong in grown-up stories.
